MoviTools V490 – SEW-EURODRIVE
SEW-EURODRIVE, is one of the player in industrial automation. Not as popular as Siemens in the market because they only focused on developing drives. But some machine combine SEW’s and Siemens. I’ve been seen a machine with a Siemens PLC and Movidrive. They communicate with Profibus, and have a good performance.
Here I want to share a software for configuring a Movidrive with a PC, via RS232 or RS485, Named Movitools. We can set a parameter, back up from a Movidrive to PC, and restore parameter to a Movidrive. And also you can do many job to set up the Movidrive.
For simple copy paste parameter of a Movidrive, we can use Operating Panel. When we change a broken with a new Device.
